Hello all! My name is Kortney Fritts, your new juvenile crime prevention and tobacco assistant. I’m truly excited about the opportunity to work with the tribal youth and to be a part of this community. I can’t wait to start this journey with all of you!
I was raised in Harney County, graduating from Burns High School in 2013. My journey in the field of mental health began at Eastern Oregon University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through EOU. My passion lies in the intersection of mental health and children, as I believe they are the future, and their well-being and resilience can truly make a difference in our community!
I moved back to Harney County in 2020 to raise my three children. We enjoy exploring Harney County, finding bugs, and learning new things.
