How’eh?
Ne Nani’a Jessique Jim, and I am a new hire to the Social Service Department-Tobacco Prevention Program. I am Paiute-Shoshone from Northern Nevada. I moved to Burns in the summer of 2016, and I reside on the Burns Paiute Reservation with my kuwuh Keith Kennedy and our 2 beautiful daughters Khloe & Khalia. I love living in Burns and being a part of the BPT community.
I joined the SS Department Tobacco Prevention Team because I believe I can offer help to those who want to quit smoking. Being an avid smoker prior to having children, I understand the effects it has on not only a personal level, but also to those who are surrounding you. I hope to bring awareness of the harmful affects of tobacco abuse to the communities’ young & eldest. I want to be able to connect with the community through communication and understanding.
